Coach Terry Christensen
Terry has been Coaching Hockey at Elite Levels for more than 30 years. His Coaching experience includes Division I College, USA National Jr., Czech National Jr., and Professional Hockey as an Assistant, Head Coach, and Director of Player Personnel. He has worked with some of the best Coaches in the game including Ron Mason at Michigan State, George Gwozdecky, who is now at Denver University, and the late Dave Peterson who was a Head Coach for a number of USA National Teams. In addition to this, in 2010, he was the first American to receive an opportunity to work with some of the Top Coaches and Management in the Czech Republic as an Assistant Coach for their U-20 National Team in the World Junior Championships.
Throughout this time he has also taken a number of Select Teams to participate in a number of International and Select Tournaments in Europe and North America. Some of the participants include, Tyler Biggs, Toronto’s 1st Round Draft in 2011, Sam Calabrese, Notre Dame, Kevin Lynch and A.J. Treais, Michigan, Cody Murphy, Miami, Brian Williams and Eric Comrie, Tri City Americans to name a few.
Terry has worked at a number of NHL Development Camps including the Detroit Red Wings, Florida Panthers, and Columbus Blue Jackets. His Teaching Progressions are designed to meet the needs of the group or individual he is working with whether the Athlete is a Pro or a player who aspires to play the game at the highest level possible.
